Go to any Registrar General's office in Zimbabwe. The main office is on Simon Muzenda Street, Harare. District offices are in every provincial capital and major town.
Complete the ID application form provided at the office. An officer will assist you if needed.
Your fingerprints will be taken electronically. Most offices now take your photo digitally on-site.
First-time applications are free. Replacement IDs cost approximately US$2.
You will be given a waiting number or receipt. Return after 4-6 weeks to collect your metal ID card.
